Q: Trouble with iTunes

I all of a sudden can no longer skip to the next song. It keeps going back to the start of the same song and it will only play one song so none of my play lists work. How can I fix this?

    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. 


    I understand from your post that you are not able to skip to the next song in your playlist and only one song keeps playing. I know how much I like listening to all the songs in my playlists. It may be that the repeat 1 song feature is turned on. If you look at the bottom of the page while you are playing a song there is an icon with 2 arrows going in a circle chasing each other. There may also be a red dot with the number one inside it. If so, tap it and it should remove the number 1. Tap it a 2nd time and it should turn the repeat feature completely off.

    Tap   once to play an entire playlist or album on repeat or twice to repeat one song.
