Q: can't reinstall iTunes
i've been trying to update my iTunes to the latest version 12.4.2.4 in Windows 7, both Apple software upgrade and manually update and it does not work. Then right now i uninstall and reinstall my iTunes and it turns out error message saying that "A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." what the heck does that mean? any 1 can help me to solve this issue?

The general troubleshooting advice when iTunes fails to install properly (and reinstalling or repairing it does not work) is to remove not only iTunes but ALL related components, reboot, remove the target installation folders and reinstall. See turingtest2's excellent iTunes for Windows Troubleshooting Guide at:

especially the section:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components
for details on how to do this. There are also many other helpful tips as well.
