Apple down loaded os 9.3.3 without my knowledge and now my i phone will not open most of the apps because there is not enough memory. I see that i have 40GB of memory left on the cloud out of 50. Question, How do i use my pc to see what has been do

Your issue has nothing to do with iCloud. You need to delete unneeded data from your phone to free up about 10% of your phone storage.

You can delete the software download in Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Usage>Storage>Manage Storage. Let the list of apps load and then swipe down to the update software and delete it. Tap on it and you can delete it in the next window.

This has absolutely nothing to do with your iCloud storage, this is an issue with storage space on the device itself. I have no idea what iOS you were running but the upadte from iOS 9.2.3 or whatever it was, was less than 100 MB. If 100 MB put you in a storage jam, you need to delete a lot more content than the software update download.

I don't know if not having enough space left on the phone would prevent you from opening installed apps. It will prevent you from downloading more content, though.

Finally, nothing gets downloaded to the cloud. I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Do you have iCloud Photo Library enabled? If so, please be careful deleting from the phone as doing so will also delete them from iCloud and other devices. Pls. see the article below for details. I suggest importing or downloading the photos (depending on iCPL settings) to your computer and backing up the computer to an external HD to be safe.

I Wholeheartedly agree with what elcpu is suggesting. Please make sure that you realize what you are doing if you are using iCloud Photo Library.

You can check what is stored in your iCloud backup in Settings>iCloud>Manage Storage>Device Name>Show all apps. On my iPad it shows that I have 3.1 GB in Photo storage, but that storage is in my iCloud backup. I do not use iCloud Photo Library.
