Mac App StoreThank you for the reply but is there no way around it for me to use my credit? I had read and re read all about family sharing and this sentence led me to believe I could use my own method of payment using my saved credit from redemption codes Quote> Content downloaded from family members or acquired via redemption codes is not subject to Ask to Buy.

Aug 1, 2016 1:19 PM in response to jennifer annfromnewlynby ChrisJ4203,To my knowledge, any purchase requires the organizer's credit card. I understood that some content could be purchased with iTunes credit, but that would be it. If it is not allowing you to do this, then it must not do it. You mention Ask To Buy. If the organizer has that set, then I don't believe you can use credit.
