how can i install the older versions of softwares for my iphone 4 (that has ios 7.1.2)?

earlier versions of some apps arent based on ios7
they require ios 8 or later..
and i cant upgrade my iphone4 ro ios 8
I'm sure that's all true.
Therefore, you will not be able to use those apps on an iPhone 4.
You would need a newer iPhone, or use some other app.

What do you mean? About all you can do is search for old version of apps but they are becoming scarce for iOS 7.

You do not need the Yahoo App to look at your mail on your phone. Just enable Yahoo as your provider by following the steps here:

This is a user-to-user technical support forum for Apple products. I'm not sure why you'd be looking for anything to do with Yahoo here. Or, I just don't understand what you mean.
