How to transfer your apps from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 6?

Do I sync with my iPhone 4 with my MacBook Air and then sync with iPhone 6 afterwards?

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.3

Follow the instructionshereorhere; using the first set of instructions then requires syncing the second device with the iTunes library containing the content.

If you'd like to transfer their data, you need to perform a backup and restore.
