Q: pre-ordered album not as one album

Hi.  I pre-ordered the explicit version of the Suicide Squad album.  iTunes has alerted me and downloaded 4 of the album songs as each song has become available.  However, it looks like I have 2 separate albums; in my recently added list I have a Suicide Squad album with 2 songs, and further down my list of recently added I have another Suicide Squad album with 2 songs.  They are all from the explicit version of the album, the one I purchased, but for some reason they are not in one folder, as one album.  So when I want to listen to the songs from this album, I can't listen to them in order without having to go through and use the "play next" function when they should all be in the same folder, as one album.  Can someone help fix this?

It's possible that the record label/rights-holder changed some info on the album in between the tracks being released so that their details don't match. You could either try deleting the tracks and redownload them from the Purchased section (e.g. Account > Purchased menu option on the current version of iTunes), or select the tracks in the My Music section of your library, do 'get-info' on them (command-I) and edit their details (e.g. album name,  artist etc) so that they match and go into the same album.

    Thanks for the suggestions King_Penquin.

So I tried the first option, thinking that would be easier and more accurate than me entering in album details.  Over the course of the week there were multiple additional songs downloaded, and some mysterious reconfiguration of the songs in iTunes, but today when the full album was released there was just 1 song not part of the whole album (it was in a separate folder).  So I deleted that one song, went to Purchased menu option but can't find it.

To add to the confusion, when I look at the album in iTunes it lists all the tracks and for all but the track I deleted it says "PLAY" - the track I deleted says "PURCHASED" and I can play it but there's no way to download it.

    Help Part II??

It's possible when you deleted the song that you hid it from the cloud, in which case it won't show in Purchased - you can check (and if it is hidden unhide it) by logging into your account : Hide and unhide iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store purchases - Apple Support
