Scaling issue MacPro (Late 2013) & third party monitor

Hi there,

I am having some scaling and general vision issues between a MacPro (Late 2013) running El Capitan 10.11.6 and a Samsung S27B970 27-inch (1920 x 1080) Display. I have attached an image of the display - which looks scaled. I've looked through the display settings and done some research but I can't seem to fix this at all.

I'm assuming it may be a compatibility issue between OSX and the display itself.

Does anybody have any potential solutions?
