Can the new Remote App be used to adjust volume?

I Downloaded the new Apple TV Remote app tonight, and for the most part it works great, Siri and all. The only thing I can't figure out how to do that you can do with the Siri Remote is adjust volume. The remote has volume up and down, and through the Apple TV it controls the volume on my soundbar connected to the TV. I dont see where the app has functionality to adjust volume unless I'm missing it somewhere?
