Q: how to protect in lab or engineering workshop?
Macbook Pro is a beautiful piece of equipment and perfectly adapted to use in a conference room, board room or on the front seat of a luxury car.
But what are those of us who want to use it in a laboratory (spashes) or engineering workshop (dust, grease, metal chips...) supposed to do?
The Macbook Pro is great for Science and Engineering but out of the box it doesn't seem to be built to handle the practical environments they entail.
Moreover I've read a support document telling us not to use a keyboard protector with a retina screen (in case we close the laptop and damage the screen).
I think their exist rugged bullet proof suitcase type protectors for laptops, but we're not talking construction site or warzone (where there are probably not many laptops anyway!) but an academic or a professional environment.
Any suggestions much appreciated.
