IPad Calendar doesn't sync events with iCloud

Hi

I can't get events I've made with my Mac or iPhone to sync with the Calendar on my iPad. Mac and iPhone sync fine but not the iPad. I've turned on Calendars in the iCloud settings (also tried turning them off and restarting iPad). On the iCloud web page everything is as it should be, the events are there. I also tried changing the sync setting in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars to All events and then back to 1 month. No joy.

I also noticed that I don't have a "default calendar" setting under Calendars in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, so I can't switch that to iCloud.

In the iPad Calendars app under Calendars I can't see any iCloud calendars.

Can anyone help please? Pleeease?

Ella, I've tried these but they didn't help. Plus like I said I don't have a "Default Calendar" option, for example, in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Calendars so I can't try that trick.

Someone suggested somewhere in the Internet that I try to delete my iCloud account from my iPad and recreate it but I can't find any way of deleting it in the settings.

When I check the settings in the Calendar app on the iPad there aren't any iCloud calendars. I think the whole problem is that iCloud calendars simply aren't switched on on my iPad but I can't find a way to do that.
