My iPhone 5s home and touch screen recently started taking screen shots sometimes every second. I am unable to use the phone efficiently, because each time I try to use it, the screen shot happens and it takes me back to a screen with 'slide to power off' at the top and 'Cancel' at the bottom.

if you're using a case - remove the case and see if it still does it.

Make an appointment at an Apple Store and have it looked at. It sounds like a hardware issue to me.
