Q: Album art disappears for songs from same album.
Just wondering if anyone else has this issue with AirPlay on Apple TV (4th generation)
Album art displays perfectly fine for a playlist in which every subsequent song has a different album cover to the one preceding it.
If, however I play 2 or more songs in succession from the same album (and with the same cover art), the album cover displays during playback of the first song and then disappears for the remaining songs from that album. Album art will not display again until a song from a different album (with different cover art) is selected.

Yes, it happens. I play longer tracks, and the cover disappears even while the track is playing. If you search here, there's another thread on the same problem.
