Aug 2, 2016 9:59 AM in response to Demoby lepardgirl,A) thank you for your reply
B) maybe I formed my question the false, I know that I can use my email address. That's exactly what I want, I just can't uncheck my phone number at "you can be reached at" because it's grey highlighted. It was my question how i can enable this. Sorry if you misunderstood me.

Aug 2, 2016 12:43 PM in response to lepardgirlby Demo,I Am so sorry about this and now I feel rather foolish. This is on your iPhone and you can not remove the number from FaceTime on the phone. It is always grayed out. I jump back and forth from the iPad to the iPhone forums and I missed that this was an iPhone.
WHy do want to remove the number?

Aug 2, 2016 1:11 PM in response to lepardgirlby Demo,Have you tried Settings>Facetime>Caller ID>Your email address. That unchecks the phone number as your caller ID. You could also try Settings>Cellular>Use cellular data for>FaceTime>Off. I don't know if that would make a difference, but you would only be able to FaceTime over WiFi.
