Q: iPhone 5 won't turn on or even connect to any charger

So i was on my way home and my iPhone 5 died, so when i did arrive home i went ahead and charge my iPhone like i normally would.. a little while after, it was on 80% so i leave it for another 15mins. After 15mins, i go ahead and check my iPhone and it was still on 80% i found that a bit odd so i unplug the charger and plug it back in. After at least 5mins of usage, the iPhone died on me and when i try and plug the charger in again, the iPhone wont turn on and my friend told me to do a hard reset as well but that didn't do nothing so i really need help with this
