Q: Issues with alignment in scrolling credits

There is a section of my scrolling credits that I want to be center-aligned.  When I highlight the section and press the center-alignment button, ALL of the credits move with it.  How do I center-align that section of credits, while keeping the others left-aligned?

You are using the Scrolling text generator?

There has to be a hard return between the lines of text in the Scrolling generator. You can apply different font formatting and alignment settings to individual lines or even characters but it's tricky. You can easily pick up a hard return in your selection and mess it up.

In the olden days we'd create complex text elements in, say, Photoshop, Illustrator, or After Effects, and bring them into FCP7.
