My iOS is updated but different

I have an iPhone6 and it is updated to iOS 9.3.3. Same as my wife. But the appearance on her screen is slightly different.

I finally figured out the functionality of the lock screen was related to the Touch ID, but she now has the six-digit security code while I still have four. Any ideas on that? Is there a way to change it? The passcode length ultimately isn't a big deal, but it does make me wonder if something else isn't updating properly.
