I have an iPhone 5s and recently (today) I noticed a small discolored triangle on the bottom right of the screen. At first i thought it was a crack but then when i turned the phone off it was gone, so i believe it is an internal issue. I have also tried restarting the device and that didn't help either. Anyone know about this?? Thanks so much!!

Could you provide a screenshot of this problem? If you take a screenshot and it does not appear, it could be a problem with the screen itself. If you do not see it, then try taking a photo of the screen while it is on with another device, so we can see the problem you are describing.

If it is a screen problem, you can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store to have the device examined by Apple, and based on their findings, they can provide you your options.
You're welcome. A screenshot is made directly from the video feed, so if a problem does not show there, then it helps to narrow it down to the screen itself. You may be able to just get the screen replaced at a lower cost than having to replace the entire phone.
If you are seeing the exact same things as the OP after performing the same troubleshooting steps, then it is a screen issue. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store and have the device examined. They will explain your options.
Yes I did go to the genius bar about it and as Chris said, it was a screen issue. I personally didn't get it fixed because they told me I would have to pay $79 for a new screen even though it was an issue that wasn't even fault whatsoever. However, the triangle is nearly and inch long now and is still slowly getting bigger. Its less noticeable now that its bigger though so if you don't want to pay like I did, then I suggest just leaving it if its not affecting the capabilities.
