How can I get rid of this virus/malware?

Ive been dealing with constant pop ups no matter what website I go to, Facebook, Youtube etc, if I click anywhere it will redirect me to another popup site, or Ill constantly see "ads4u" and I can't get rid of it, It's really frustrating because Ive tried all the extension removals or block pop ups, and nothing works, Im not sure if its because my boyfriend tried to torrent the Sims on my computer, but I deleted it, atleast I think I did, please any tips or solutions would be much appreciated it's becoming so frustrating

Quit Safari from the Apple > Force Quit menu. Relaunch Safari from the Dock icon while holding down the Shift key.
