Q: Why does apple not make a high capacity mp3 player?

Apologies if this question has already been posted (for anyone who really has the time & can be bothered to argue about it...there's always one). Why does Apple not make a high capacity player? I don't want to use my iPhone as I love my ipod Classic. However, its capacity is 128 GB. My music collection is at least 500GB. What's the problem with being able to carry it around with me? What has Apple or any other company for that matter got against that? It's no problem if I have an SLR camera. High capacity is readily available. But music? Forget it. There's too much enjoyment to be had it seems, so they're not going to allow it or make a device that caters for it. Tell me I'm wrong, or at least can anyone offer an opinion as to why they won't maybe? Thanks for not posting any smartass comments. I can't be bothered to read them. It's an honest question.
