Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding you've been experiencing Wi-Fi connections issues on your iOS devices. I know how important to have consistent connection on all devices. I am happy to help.Even though you're able to connect to the network, the steps from the article below can resolve this issue:
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't connect to a Wi-Fi network
If the issue persists make sure your modem and router firmware are up to date. If you're not sure how to update the firmware, contact the manufacturer.
Have an amazing day! -
Aug 3, 2016 10:54 AM in response to bob4227by Diana.McCall,★HelpfulHi. Does it work at all before stalling? Try to reset your network settings, Settings>General>Reset. Then reconnect to the network. Also, restart the router.

Aug 3, 2016 10:54 AM in response to Diana.McCallby bob4227,It would work, just now download. I had reset wifi and then reset the whole device with no result. However at the suggestion of Apple support, I reset the router, restarted each device and that seems to be working. Probably signal from router is becoming weak for some reason. I will check with Time Warner and possibly think about replacing the router which is only 2 years old.
Thanks for your reply.

Aug 3, 2016 1:40 PM in response to bob4227by Diana.McCall,You may be experiencing interference. Download the Apple AirPort Utility from the app store. Be sure to enable WiFi scan in Settings. Run it and tap the Scan in the top corner. It will show the nearby networks in decreasing order of strength. Try to pick a channel that's not being used. Channels 1, 6, and 11, or any of the 5GHz channels are best. Go into your router settings and change your WiFi to the channel you have selected.
