For the iPad Air 2, what is the best app for note taking that allows you to use an attachable keyboard and stylus? Also what is a good stylus to use?

I'm looking at buying an iPad Air 2 for taking notes in my college classes and was wondering what is a good app that allows an external keyboard (like a laptop) to type the notes and also allows drawing with a stylus? What is a good stylus that is compatible with the app and iPad Air 2?

iPad Air, iOS 9.3.3

If you really want to use stylus to make notes or draw you should go for iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. Nothing else provides good experience especially for hand writing. If you ok with drawing only then Pencil by FiftyThree is a good choice on iPad Air 2 (but again, it is much worse in my opinion then iPad Pro + Apple Pencil). FiftyThree also made one of the best apps (Paper) for note taking (and it works good with their Pencil).

Keyboards are working system wide and not an app dependent. You may go for any 3rd party model you like which is compatible with iPad Air 2. Notice the Apple's Smart Keyboard covers are Pro's specific (they require specific for iPad Pro connector).
