Q: Forgot my restrictions password for iPhone

My Mom wants to get into restrictions and change it to allow 17+ apps but she forgot the password please help!

iPhone SE, iOS 9.3.3

Hi

 

As your Mom has forgotten the Restrictions passcode, you will need to erase your iPhone and then set it up as new in order to remove or change the Restrictions passcode.

 

There is no way around this feature.

 

If you have a backup of your iPhone that was made before Restrictions were turned on, you may then wish to restore it from that backup.
