    Have you tried the obvious by removing any new memory and re-installing the original RAM?

    Make sure the DIMMs are properly seated.  Sometimes it takes more force than you feel comfortable applying to get the DIMMs to seat properly.

     

    And definitely follow kiltedTim's advice and put the original DIMMs back in.

    Do you have the correct RAM? Often I have to return RAM I buy online because it is mislabeled or they ship the wrong one, or they don't know that a different speed RAM will not necessarily work. You need RAM that is marked with 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (PC3-10600). How much RAM and what brand are you trying to put in it?
