Reset the iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

You may need to erase your iPhone and restore to factory settings - Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
Make sure to back up your photos to a computer prior to doing this. Your phone will be completely erased. You will no longer have your text messages. If you use iCloud, your contacts and calendars will repopulate. You will need to download your apps again.
