Anybody else lose connectivity with HP printer after the latest update?

Since the latest Mac update, my HP printer no longer talks to my Macbook Pro. I've tried everything I can think of. Went to HP website, and did everything there, too. Nothing. It used to work perfectly. I am so frustrated. I hate "updates" that make things worse!
