upgrade to 10.2 - back up

I am upgrading from FCP 10.1.4 to 10.2

When I duplicate the project, no window appears giving me the option Duplicate Project and Referenced Events.

I am upgrading because I am experiencing problems with the converted MTS files (via iSkysoft) and am hoping the upgrade will fix this. I am only 5% into the project, as can easily start again if is not possible to open the project after I upgrade but I still want to make sure the I have duplicated and backed up correctly - thanks!

WWhere are you seeing that there should be duplicate project with referenced events? This is pre10.1 information.

Those options were (as Tom said) for versions 10.0.9 and earlier – versions that preceded the consolidated library design currently in use. And the option was intended to be used in archiving. Is archiving (completed projects) what you're aiming to do?
