Q: Employee and student Discount

HI

I'm currently a student(with valid NUS card) and understand that I would be eligible for a 10% discount off a MacBook.

the company I work for has recently brought in Perkbox for its staff and I can get a discount through them for Apple also.

Would it be possible to combine both discounts or would i only get the best/highest discount?

would I be able to use educational discount in the USA with a UK NUS card?

many thanks for your help

    Combine? No.

A UK bank card cannot be used in the U.S.

    Howdy Carolyn

    I know this sounds crazy.

A UK bank card is commonly used is the U.S. - just not at Apple's Online Store or in iTunes / App Stores. I get why Apple uses the billing address for the payment method as a location identifier for those services = jurisdiction.

It would surprise me if a physical Apple Store would be different from any other brick & mortar merchant in the U.S. (I would certainly invest in a phone call to one of them to be sure, though)

BTW, a "NUS card" is an "ID card"...
