Is there any rhyme or reason to the fact that the time cannot be moved in any of the faces?

I want the time to go in the middle section on the left hand side of the modular face, but it's not letting me. This is such a simple customization I would think? Apple, I love ya. I have had every version of iphone, first gen iPod Touch and the original iPad. Very rarely do I complain. However, this one is very frustrating...Apple designers, listen up! If I want to move where on the face the digital time goes, I should be able to! It's a watch! The time should be the first thing that I look at, which I look at the center of the screen. Come on guys! Also, I should be able to sync as many playlists as I would like to. I'm dying to get my hands on the public beta of watchOS 3 so I can figure out if you guys fixed these issues. Come on guys work with me! 🙂
