Aug 4, 2016 6:05 AM in response to D in PAby skathleen13,★HelpfulAn Excel file cannot be imported into Keynote per se, neither can a Numbers file. You can save the Excel file as a PDF (Save As... > PDF) or take a screenshot of it (Command + Option + 4) which will save it as a jpeg. Either format can then be dropped into a Keynote slide. Neither format will be editable.

- select the required cells in excel by click and dragging the mouse
- copy (command C)
- add a chart onto a Keynote slide
- click the Edit Chart Data button
- select all the cells with sample data in the spreadsheet by click and dragging the mouse
- press the delete or backspace key to remove the sample data
- paste the data from excel into the spread sheet (command A)
