Apple "requested" I reset my password, why?

A screen popped up on my iPhone 6S Plus two days ago saying I needed to reset the password for my Apple ID. This did not appear to be a optional request. Why?

Sense I reset my password and reentered it in all my devises I have been prompted over a dozen times to enter my Apple ID password again and again. Why?

Try resetting Safari. Close Safari completely from the app switcher window by double clicking the Home button and swiping up the Safari preview pane until it disappears from the screen. Then go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. Then do a forced restart. Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears
