Q: imessage/facetime login errors
I bought a new macbook pro last weekend and I've been trying to login my imessages and facetime for several days but no luck. (System came with El capitan 10.11.6)
When I first open imessages, I get the login screen and am sometimes able to bypass that stage by logging into my account where I am brought to the message/conversation screen. But when I attempt to send a message to someone I get this: (my imessage account is not signed in)
So since my account isn't signed in when I thought it should have been, I go to accounts to sign in but instead get this msg: (error during activation). -I also get this on facetime the error during activation msg telling me to try again.
Note: my internet is p good, and my account username/pass are all correct
So...what should I do? I have been on forums searching for ans but nothing is really working. Should I just go to the apple store and ask for help? pls help me ;-; thanks.
