Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I know how important it is to be able to rely on iTunes working correctly, and I'd like to help get your music up and running again.
If you have not already restarted your Windows computer following the update, that's where we'll want to start. Updating iTunes usually requires a fresh start to make sure all the latest improvements and updates are in place.
If, after the restart, you are still seeing the same behavior, you may want to try re-installing iTunes. This article will help you through that process: Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later
If you have any questions or run into any trouble, the entire community is here to help.
Best regards.
