iPhone 6 was acting very strange. It either locked up or opened apps on it's own. I restored to Factory now the phone does not work at all. It is in restore mode but you cannot restore or update IOS. Just has the plug in cable icon on the screen.

It's in recovery mode.
You need to connect your iPhone to your computer iTunes to restore.

What exactly happens when you connect to computer and try to restore via iTunes?
Thanks for your reply. Yes I know that it is in recovery mode but it does not recover. When you plug it in it give you the choice of recovering or recover and update. Either option fails and says there was an error and I am right back where I started. I cannot load IOS or restore/recover.
What was the exact wording of the error message?

Yes, I keep iTunes up to date. I will have to see what the exact error was but it was not very descriptive. I will post back once I have that iPhone in my hands and can type out the exact wording. Much appreciated all.
