I have a 2-cell Apple brand rechargeable battery charger, Model A1360. There is a flashing yelllow light on battery charger, even after the batteries have been charging overnight. What does this mean?

This is not unusual though it can be disturbing. First try removing the batteries while the charger is plugged in and simply put them back again (try the opposite positions). Try switching off the charger, then switching it on again.
Try a different pair of batteries (you should have 6). Check the actual charge level of the batteries if you have a battery charge monitor.

Unusual for a Device that comes WITH a charging system to provide "extra batteries" - but I now see the system was likely bought as the standalone charging system... I must really learn to read carefully instead of "speed reading" 😉

No, not really CCC. If the charger was bought as usual, the pack contains one charger and 6 batteries.
