I updated my hearing aids and now I cannot pair them with my iPhone. Is anyone else having this problem?

See if updating you iPhone to iOS 9.3.4 helps.
Tap Settings > General > Software Update
What happened I discovered after much frustration was that my iPad stole the aids. I do not use my hearing aids with my ipad because changing from iPhone to iPad and back is too much of a hassle. I thought I had solved the problem with my ipad absconding with my hearing aids but then yesterday it did it again after i updated it to 9.3.4. Unfortunately, there is no smooth way to select which device one wishes one's aids to be connected to. Something simple like aids off or aids on would be good but that is too simple for apple and starkey techs.
