I have lost my computer icon from my screen.

My computer icon has disappeared from my desktop. I have used time capsule to try to back-up to some prior date and maybe recover it, to no avail.

I can still find my applications...I have tried copying the icon in finder and pasting it to a folder on the desktop but that is not allowed. I remember from way back that this icon/folder is "blessed", but its been way too long since I once knew what exactly it means/meant.

If anyone out there has been through this experience, I would appreciate a reply!
