Q: Slow wifi on MacBook Air

I've tried searching but prior questions are old or unanswered. My MacBook Air El Capitan 10.11.5 is extremely slow on my wifi, with sites loading slowly or not at all. My 3+ year old Dell laptop sitting right next to the Mac browses quickly on the same wifi.

I'm not sure what changes I can make to the network preferences (Using DHCP, Automatically configure MAC Address, etc.) Any suggestions?
