Q: Getting a message "No network accounts available "

I originally got an error message that stated my system had been compromised and that I needed to rebuild my library. several programs appear to have been deleted. I'm running a 1212 MacBook Pro with up to date El Capitan. It has 16 Megs of memory and I attach by cable  modem with a wireless router. Since that happened I have been unable to log back into my system. On on boot I get a login message that says "no network accounts available". I have attempted to use Recovery Mode, Verbose Mode, Individual Login and all the other standard recovery modes. None work and just return me to the nonfunctional login screen. Immediately before I got locked out I checked the disk and it verified ok. The permissions were corrected but then when I checked again they had reverted to their previous state. I have tried both wifi and Ethernet. Is their anyway I can access the terminal without logging in?

What is the context surrounding this "I originally got an error message that stated my system had been compromised and that I needed to rebuild my library. several programs appear to have been deleted. "? Where did the mesage come from and what did you do? Did you give remote access to your computer to someone?

Bob, I didn't give anybody remote access but there have been some irregularities. My account switched from administrative to user and there have been folders that I was once able to access but somehow the permissions changed and I was locked out. I've been suspecting that it may have been compromised. I wouldn't mind completely wiping the drive and starting from scratch but I can't get to the install screen. Thank you for responding. Troy.

How to reinstall OS X - Apple Support

There are two options for reinstalling OSX. You can revert to the OS version your computer originally came with or you can reinstall the current OS. Read all the instructions before beginning.

UUnfortunately I've been unable to boot into any mode where I can access disk utility as I keep getting stuck at the login screen that says "no network accounts availabile".  Occasionally I do get to a firmware lock screen but have tried all the suggestions I can find to get past the lock to no avail. Any suggestions as to how I can get to disk recovery mode. I tried for at least an hour to get into all other modes but the computer just returns to the nonfunctional login mode. I found a hardware hack but am reluctant to try it. Any help is appreciated.  Troy.

Command - R on a restart doesn't take you to the Recovery Partition? Does command - option/alt -R boot you into Internet Recovery?
