Q: No sound running Windows 7 with Boot Camp 4
On a Mac Mini 32 bit running Windows 7 using Boot Camp 4. I have to use this set up due to other software I need that requires 32 bit. There is no sound coming from the CPU itself nor from the headphone jack. I do get the Mac sound on startup from the CPU then Windows boots up normally. On Device Manager in Windows the two sound devices are: High Definition Audio Device, and Intel Display Audio. The Device status on these two says they are both working properly. I have another Mac Mini that the sound does work properly, and it has a Cirrus S4206B device. I tried to find how to add this device and driver to the problem CPU but was unsuccessful.

This is because your combined jack is stuck in Digital output mode. Use a headphone plug and try to gently insert/extract the jack a few times and see if the light turns off.

Cirrus devices are automatically detected. You cannot add them.
