i was charged for a month of apple music but i never subscribed to it and now i can't find the email with the receipt for the charge.
If you did not cancel auto-renewal before the free trial period ended, the charge is normal.

How do you know you were charged for Apple Music then?
If the charge is not in your purchase history? And no e-mail to indicate a charge, what makes you think you were billed for Apple Music?
If you go to http://reportaproblem.apple.com does the charge appear there?

I never signed up for the 3 month trial so why would i be charged? Even in my purchase history, Apple music is not shown on it
File the billing form to contest the charge.
