Hello Contiki1,

I see from your post that your iCloud calendar entries on your PC are off by 12 hours. I know that with the rest of your devices working correct it’s important to have the calendar on your PC to be correct as well.

I have a resource that should help. Check out this article: Get help using iCloud for Windows - Apple Support

Try these steps first

  1. Install any updates on your computer, and check for updates to iCloud for Windows.
  2. Make sure that you meet the system requirements for iCloud for Windows.
  3. Check your Internet connection. Try to go to www.apple.com or another webpage.
  4. Check the System Status page to find out if there are any known issues.

Cheers!

Hey Contiki1,

Thanks for getting back to us. If you’re using Outlook with iCloud I’d recommend turning the iCloud calendar feature off and back on to see if it will sync the correct times. I have an article that will help with those instructions.

Take care.

Hi there,

Thank you very much for the reply. It turns out I did need an iCloud update but I'm afraid this hasn't solved the problem! I'm wondering what I've done to mess this up as I changed the time zone to UK and the preferences to 24hour and that's when it all went wrong. I changed it all back to what it was before but the errors have stayed. I'd really like to wipe it and reinstall but I don't want to lose my iPhone and iPad calendars as they are correct and have all my work appointments in them! Thank you!

Thank you for trying to help! I don't use Outlook but only use Windows Live mail for emails not diary. My iPad and iPhone are set to 24hour display so I have definitely entered the correct times there. The PC iCloud has corrupted some (not all) entries by 12 hours. Can I delete iCloud calendar on my pc without wiping everything off my iPad and iPhone?

Many thanks!

I'VE SOLVED IT!!!

Under my name, then iCloud settings, you can alter the time zone. Somehow (I did NOT do this!!) it had UK region, but a completely different time zone. There is a slider on the map that can change this which I discovered by chance. I altered it to UK and all the entries on the calendar are now corrected.

Many thanks for all suggestions :-)
