Q: iMessage suggestions not working

The suggestion area does not come up. The little white bar is missing from my screen. I've checked all the settings. Works fine on iPad 3. I have iPhone6

On the keyboard, did you try holding down on the little emoji icon next to the Mic icon and slide your finger up to Predictive>On?
