Q: Is iOS iMovie music/fx royalty free?

Hi there,

So, I am using the iOS version of iMovie to make YouTube videos which I will monetise.

Tis means I could make a possible revenue from my videos.

I might use some of the templates on iMovie which already have music on and I want to make sure i am allowed to publish this to YouTube.

To summarise, I need to know if I can legally publish videos edited with iMovie and using iMovie music and sound effects to YouTube?

Except as otherwise provided, all Sample Content included in the Apple Software may be used on a royalty-free basis in your own video projects but may not be distributed on a standalone basis.

The audio theme content provided in the Apple Software ("Audio Theme Content") may not be distributed commercially and may not be distributed on a standalone basis for any purpose. You may incorporate the Audio Theme Content into movies you create with the Apple Software, but solely for your own personal, non-commercial use.

That would suggest you cannot use the audio themes for a commercial project and should look elsewhere.
