My iPod 5 won't charge pass one percent , I tried cleaning where plug the charger in at and I've also tried a hard reset . When I plug it in it has the charging symbol but it just stays on red the whole time. Sometimes it work and most of the time it Doesn't . I don't know what else to do . Please help

Take it into your local apple store or authorized service provider and have them check it out. It's possible that the battery has died. It can be replaced for a fee.

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
