Q: I can't import MXF files shot on a Sony x160 into FCP X , It doesn't recognize MXF files when I try to import. Please help.
WWhat version are you using?
Is this shot in XDCAM?
HI Tom, first off I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time for helping me.
FCP X 10.1.3 and yes it's shot in xdcam.
Don't remember if that version works with XDCAM, probably not natively. There used to be needed a plugin that you could download from Sony that had to be installed to allow import.
