I download some movies and they suddenly became in available. When I return to the iTunes ap, the pages are empty.
I seem to be locked out of iTunes on my iPad. i get the bottom bar but everthing else is blank.

Did you check if the movies are accessible in the Videos app?
Otherwise, Try a simple Reset: hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10-20 seconds).
