Q: Numbers - Cannot export to pdf

Macbook pro OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

I have Numbers 08 version 1.0.3

I am no longer able to export from numbers to pdf or excel.  I save the file/spreadsheet in numbers, then export to pdf or excel.  When I do this I get the following message "Export Failed.  The selected file or location (directory or drive) is read-only.

I have created new spreadsheets in case there was a bug in the original file.  Same message.

I have tried creating, then saving Numbers spreadsheets in different folders and then exporting - same message.

I can export Pages documents in the folders where it failed with Numbers - so its not a problem with the folders.

I have been exporting Numbers documents to pdf for ages.  The last one that I did successfully was 6 weeks ago - I don't think that I have changed any settings to cause this problem.

I've gone to Disc Utilities - these are the results.  Made no difference.
