no facetime ring sound incoming ipad

Once FaceTime connects, and with other apps that use the speakers, sound is OK, but when ringing for incoming calls, there is no sound.

How is the sound adjusted for this "sound" (ie user issue) or this is an issue with FaceTime/Ipad?
