Why did iTunes lose all my Playlists after update 12.4.3.1?

iTunes recently automatically updated to 12.4.3.1. I subscribe to Apple Music with my playlists in the cloud. After the update, the playlists content was partially deleted. Why would this be?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Thanks for swinging by the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are missing some of the playlists that you added through your Apple Music membership after updating iTunes. I'll be more than happy to provide you with some information.
